Our Work
The Murdoch Lab, in the department of Animal, Veterinary, and Food Sciences at the University of Idaho, studies mammalian genetic variation. This group of incredible researchers focuses on characterizing the relationship between genetic and epigenetic variation in mammals and phenotypically important traits in economic and agricultural markets. Exploiting numerous molecular and genetic tools to further improve our understanding of how these variations affect biological processes of both undesirable and desirable traits. Lists of publications, research projects, and funding organizations can be found via the links within the upper website menu.
